Hasegawa 1/72 Ohka Suicide Bomb
Another of my early 72nd scale efforts. This came with Hasegawa's original Betty bomber kit which is rather an expensive way to acquire a model of this tiny rocket powered plane. I did manage to sell the Betty sans Ohka later so it wasn't a complete loss.
Think I built this soon after joining IPMS Vancouver so I incorporated some newly discovered techniques such as sanding & polishing canopies and replacing pitot tubes with fine stainless tubing - the nurse I was dating at the time kept me supplied with the latter which was an added bonus. My stocks are running low now so I suppose I'll have to go and break a limb or something so I can meet another nurse. Nah, surely there's a less painful way to meet women?!?
